What is SER exposition services?
SER exposition services is a full service general service contractor for trade shows, conventions and corporate events. We handle all aspects of an event including floor plan design, trade show decorating, custom design structures, graphic design services & production, custom carpet & furniture rentals, staging, equipment rentals, material handling services and more..
How do I order equipment or services for a show?
There are two ways you may place an order for an upcoming show. Our website has available the Exhibitor Services Manual for each upcoming event. You may print the required forms and mail or fax the forms with payment to SER exposition services.
You may also order equipment and services using our online ordering section of the website.An Exhibitor Services Manual is an event specific document including all the information you may need such as show hours, show colors, exhibitor move-in and move-out times, as well as policies and procedures of the facility.
IIn addition, many services are offered, such as material handling services, additional furniture and accessories for your booth, custom signs and banners, installation and dismantle labor, and much more. In most circumstances, , you will also find forms to order electrical, telephone and other utilities.
Please keep this manual with you during the show and always have a copy of what you ordered when you're at show site.
Each event is different, but the cover page of the event’s Exhibitor Services Manual lists the equipment provided in your booth
Can I substitute an item that is included in my booth package?
We are unable to substitute any of the items that show management has contracted for your booth. If you need additional items you may use the order forms included in you Exhibitor Services Manual.
Exhibitor ID signs 7" X 44" card stock identification signs that typically include your company name and booth number. Show management supplies the company names to us.
Each event has different criteria in regards to carpet. Please refer to the cover letter of your Exhibitor Services Manual for more specific information.

Can I order flowers or plants?
The Exhibitor Services Manual will have a floral order form if floral is being offered at your specific event.. If a form is not included, please contact us to discuss further options.
How do I order cleaning services?
If cleaning services were being offered at a particular show, an order form would be included in your Exhibitor Services Manual. If a form is not included please contact us to discuss further options.
Please contact us directly to order any special graphics, banners or signs. Our in-house graphics department can provide many specialty signs including digital print, wide format color graphics, vinyl banners, logo reproduction, and more.
What types of graphic substrates are available?
SER exposition services offers a variety of substrates including, but not limited to: cardstock, foamcore, coroplast, sintra and banner material. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
How do I send a logo or graphic?
Acceptable file formats for logos are: *.AI, *.eps, *.psd, or high resolution pdf’s. If *.jpg, *tif, *.gif or *.bmp are the only formats available, please understand that these may not print at high resolution. Graphics may be sent via email, cd, dvd or ftp site. Please contact us with any concerns.
Do I have to use SER exposition services for my labor needs?
In most circumstances, Yes. This would depend on what facility is hosting the event. Please contact us to answer this question.
How do I get an electrical hook-up?
Electrical hook-ups are typically handled by the facility where the show is located. You should find in your Exhibitor Services Manual an electrical order form, which can be sent directly to the
How do I get a telephone/nternet/Wi-fi/Audio Visual Equipment?
These utilities are typically handled by the facility where the show is located at. You should find a form in the Exhibitor Service Manual. If a form is not included please contact the facility directly. Please be aware that not all facilities offer AV services and you may have to order AV from an outside contractor.
Drayage (also known as Material Handling) is the Delivery of exhibit materials from the loading dock to your assigned booth space, removing and storing empty crates or boxes, returning crates or boxes at the end of the show for re-packing, and delivering materials back to the loading dock for carrier pick up. There is a charge for drayage that is incurred by shipping directly to the facility or to our advance warehouse. Please see the Exhibitor Service Manual for rates.
Direct shipping is any shipment that is shipped directly to the show site/facility. If shipping direct, your shipment must arrive on the day of exhibitor move-in. If the shipment arrives prior to exhibitor move-in, the facility may refuse your shipment.
Please note that each event and facility has different rules regarding Direct Shipments, including not accepting any shipments. Refer to your Material Handling Information/Rate Schedule in the Exhibitor Services Manual for specific event instructions.
Advanced Shipping is any shipment that is sent to the SER exposition services designated warehouse in advance of the event. When shipping in advance, the shipment should not arrive more than thirty (30) days prior to the exhibitor move-in date, or less than seven (7) days prior to the exhibitor move-in date. If the freight arrives in our advance warehouse within seven (7) days of the exhibitor move-in date, SER exposition services will impose a late delivery fee and other charges, if applicable.
What is a CWT? C Weight? Calculating material handling charges.
cwt stands for century weight and equals 100 pounds, so that 2500 pounds = 25 cwt's.
In most cases, SER exposition services charges a minimum of 200 lbs for material handling. The rates for Direct and Advance shipping can be found in your Exhibitor Services Manual. Keep in mind all weights are rounded to the next cwt. Other overtime and special handling charges may apply depending on the show dates and delivery methods.
If you are shipping directly to the show (Direct Shipping), your shipment can only arrive on the day of exhibitor move-in, if it arrives before that day, the facility may refuse your shipment.
If you are shipping to the advance warehouse (Advance Shipping), your shipment should arrive between thirty (30) days and seven (7) days prior to the exhibitor move-in date. If your shipment is received within seven (7) days of the exhibitor move-in date, you will incur a late delivery fee and if applicable, otherr charges.
What if I miss the advance shipping deadline?
If you miss the advance shipping deadline, you have two options; first, you may still ship to the advance warehouse but you will incur late charges and in applicable other charges. The other option would be to ship directly to the facility. Please call SER exposition services for more information concerning late shipments.
1. HANGING MATERIALS
Hanging of any item above the height of eight feet. This could include signs, banners, or exhibit materials. This could involve the use of ladders, scissors lift or other machinery.
PLEASE NOTE: Any items to be hung above eight feet, must be approved by show maangement. Upon written approval by show management, please contact SER exposition services to make arrangements for the installation and dismantling of your signage or materials.
2. MACHINERY RIGGING
Movement, spotting, and respotting of heavy machinery or equipment. This will involve forklift use and additional labor costs.
Machinery rigging involves a forklift and riggers as needed, both items must be ordered!
The Exhibitor Services Manual will have a forklift order form if forklift service is being offered at your specific event. If a form is not included, please contact us to discuss further options.
On the "Furniture and Accessories Order Form" what is the difference between discounted prices and regular prices?
Discounted prices are for orders placed with SER exposition services before the deadline date stated on your order form (typically, seven (7) days prior to move-in). Any order placed after this date, or during the event, will be charged the regular price.
Unless otherwise specified, all orders, including payment in full, must be received seven (7) days prior to move-in to guarantee availability. The exceptions being; special graphic orders, modular rental units, show cases and any item that has been designated as an early order in your Exhibitor Services Manual. SER exposition services reserves the right to change any and all order deadlines.
Yes. SER exposition services accepts payments made by check, Visa, Mastercard and American Express. A credit card authorization is required for all orders, even if you will be paying by check.
Yes, you may fax the "Recap of Services Ordered" form and the particular order forms to our offices at 508-757-9136. All orders and payments must be received seven (7) days prior to exhibitor move-in to guarantee availability.
What is the Third Party Payment form used for?
Third party payment forms are used when an exhibitor hires another company to do certain work for them. You are authorizing a third party to do your work, and to pay the charges incurred.
What is a Non Official Contractor?
If for any reason you do not use the services of SER exposition services, and hire a Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC), the Non Official Contractor form must be filled out, and a certificate of insurance must be forwarded to SER exposition services within thirty (30) days of your scheduled move-in date.
NOTE: Some facilities do not allow EAC's. Please contact us for more information.

From Interstate 290 East, take EXIT 20 LINCOLN/BURNCOAT Streets, off the exit ramp take a RIGHT. You are now on Burncoat Street, which will merge with Lincoln Street...see below
From Interstate 290 West, take EXIT 20 LINCOLN/BURNCOAT Streets, off the exit ramp take a LEFT. You are now on Lincoln Street. Proceed through the next set of lights (after the overpass), you will then come to a stop sign at a merge (merges with Burncoat Street, but stays as Lincoln Street), go through the stop sign and
Follow Lincoln Street through two sets of lights. At the second light you will see a Honey Farms on your right, immediately after this plaza you will take a RIGHT onto CRESCENT STREET (before the overpass). Follow Crescent Street until it makes a right hand turn onto HARLOW STREET. On Harlow Street you will now take your FIRST LEFT onto NEW STREET, (directly after the brick building). Follow New Street to the end, you will come to our warehouse. The loading dock will be the first thing you see.
